Hello world!
First, I'd like to start by giving a disclaimer that I have NEVER written a blog before! I figured my first blog post should be introducing myself (since that is the polite thing to do, and, if I don't, my mom will probably disown me) before diving into my world. I am Sahar, a wife to Sean, an event planner, entrepreneur and mommy to two beautiful kids, Shyanne and Shane. I have always enjoyed designing parties and throwing them, for myself, family or friends. After so many years, I decided I would take the plunge and do it for real. FOR REAL, FOR REAL!
The thing is, I just have way too many ideas for one person. I want to eventually open a spa (our recent trip to Bali inspired that), open and build an amazing carnival-themed pumpkin patch (there aren't great ones where we live), invent cool baby gadgets (I have a list), etc., the list goes on. The thing is, I want to create a legacy for my kids. Something they can one day say, "My mom did this. She made this!" I'm all about my family and friends. I am super passionate about everything I do and I somehow always manage to go above and beyond (all my high school teachers can attest to this, and most likely every person I know, hehe).
I may not have years and years of experience like a lot of these other planners in my industry do, but what I do have is passion and drive. I never tire. I never quit and most of all, I'm freaking creative!
And hey, everyone starts somewhere. But what I do know, is that every event that I do, I treat as my own and will make it ten times better than anyone else can. Mark. My. Words. I'm so inspired to make every event come alive and create something that will never be forgotten whether its a first birthday, corporate party, anniversary or a wedding. We as a human race have the need to celebrate. We celebrate things that are important to us to show what we believe in and value. It all circles back to family. And family circles back to me. BOOM! That just happened.

I'm a bit of a neat freak, and kind of really organized. Can you tell?! Who else color coordinates their closet from tank tops to t-shirts, to long sleeves, etc.?? I do! (Ha, no pun-intended.)
